Through your use of the Website or Services, we may obtain two types of information: (i) information you provide through the Website or any Services and (ii) information the Website or any Services automatically collect as you interact with the Website or Services.
a. Information You Provide Us.
There may be opportunities on the Website or Services for you to voluntarily provide us with information about you and your interests. The information you provide us may include information that could be used to identify you (“Personally Identifiable Information”), including, without limitation, your name, postal address, email address, telephone number, or any other information that is defined as personally identifiable information under any applicable law.
b. Automatically Collected Information.
As you navigate through and interact with the Website or any Services, we may automatically collect certain information about you and your browsing actions. Automatically collected data may include, without limitation, the length of your visit, the time of your visit, the type of internet browser you use, and your device type.
3. How We Use the Information.
a. Personally Identifiable Information.
Without limiting the generality of Section 3(c), we may use and share information that we collect about you or that you provide to us (including, without limitation, Personally Identifiable Information):
i. to present the Website and its contents to you;
ii. to provide you with Services or any information, products, or other services that you request from us;
iii. to provide you with notices about your account, including, without limitation, expiration and renewal notices;
iv. to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process;
vi. to notify you about changes to the Website or any Services;
vii. to bill you and fulfill any purchase from you;
viii. to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal, prohibited, or suspected illegal or prohibited activities;
ix. to archive communications with you; or
x. to fulfill any other purpose for which you provide it.
Without limiting the generality of Section 3(c), we may share and transfer your information (including, without limitation, Personally Identifiable Information) to an acquirer, assignee, or other successor entity in connection with a proposed, agreed, or consummated sale, merger, or reorganization of all or substantially all of the equity, business, or assets of DWE.
c. Non-Personally Identifiable Information.
We may use, share, and transfer information about you that is not Personally Identifiable Information for any purpose.
4. External Links.
The Website or Services may contain links to other websites operated by organizations other than DWE. We are not responsible for the practices of other websites, including, without limitation, such websites’ practices regarding your privacy. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of other websites that collect Personally Identifiable Information.
5. Confidentiality and Security of Personally Identifiable Information.
a. No Guarantees.
Because the Internet is not a 100% secure environment, we cannot and do not guarantee the security of Personally Identifiable Information (or any other information), and there is some risk that an unauthorized party may find a way to circumvent our security systems or that transmission of your information over the Internet may be intercepted.
b. Security Breach Notice.
If we become aware of any security breach that we know has resulted in unauthorized access to Personally Identifiable Information, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to inform you of that breach as soon as practicable.
6. Do Not Track.
We may decline to recognize or respond to “do not track” (“DNT”) settings in browsers, which is a privacy preference that users can set in their browsers. When a user turns on DNT, the browser sends a message to websites requesting that websites do not track the user.
7. Updating Your Personally Identifiable Information.
If you would like to modify Personally Identifiable Information with DWE, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We try to answer every email promptly but might not always be able to do so.
